Printable Hand-Finished Paper

I was flipping through my September 2009 issue of Martha Stewart and saw their highlight on this fantastic printer-friendly paper with a hand-finished edge. I guess the paper comes in 4 sizes and are great for invitations, business cards, fun notes or anything else you want to use it for. After you print your image you remove the perforated edges to reveal a special hand-finished edge. Fantastic.

You can get them here at orangeart.com and get templates and how to's here at Martha Stewart.

Fun Candy Wrappers

Who would of thought that this would be on Rachel Ray's Everyday website. Free candy wrapper designs to download. Of course as a designer, I would most likely design one myself. But, when I'm in a pinch I don't have any guilt downloading free designs. Especially if it is a fun design and it involves chocolate! For candy wrapper free downloads, click here!

Paper Pom-Poms

Again, leave it to Martha Stewart to come up with another fabulous, inexpensive party decoration. These paper pom-poms are so beautiful and easy to make. You can also create matching pom-pom napkin rings. Click here for her instructions.

Also highlighted in the picture are table luminaries. Those are just square or rectangular glass vases or votive candle holders that have been wrapped in matching tissue paper and secured with tape. I have a ton of candle holders around my house and they're not all square, but I'm sure round ones and other sizes would be just as beautiful.

Paper Rosette

My absolute favorite paper store in the world so far is Paper Source. I can easily spend a whole day in there gathering ideas, looking at their paper, figuring out my next event to use their amazing invitations, and so on and so on. However, I am sad now as I no longer live near an actual store and must replace my fix on their website. Thankfully I'm just as inspired and enjoy the projects and resources that they post up on their site.

One project that they have on their site is the Paper Rosette. One of the more beautiful paper ornaments that I've found to spice up any event or your home for that matter! For the directions, click here!

Matchbox Announcement

I just stumbled across this DIY adorable matchbox announcement here at this cute site Little Window Shoppe. The matchboxes could be personalized and even used for a baby shower announcement too. I'm sure it could be done for such events like:

:: bridal shower announcements
:: wedding reception favors
:: general party favors

I'm going to keep a note of this one as I'm sure they will be perfect for some occasion. For the tutorial click here.
